Positive Behavior and Intervention Support Program (PBIS)We are very excited about our Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS) program. School-wide PBIS provides a positive focus to encourage desirable student behaviors.
We have 3 universal expectations for behavior which are established for all students in all locations of the school. These expectations are to Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Safe. We have specified ways in which to follow these rules in each area of school. See below to take a look at what following the rules looks like at our school. |
Character TraitsHere at Nord Country School we focus on a different character trait each month. Every character trait has a color associated with it that the students and staff wear each Wednesday throughout the month as a reminder of the focus we are giving to the current trait. The character traits used in this program and the months they are reinforced are listed below.
