  What is the PTO?  We are a group of parent volunteers and staff members who strive to strengthen the educational experience of all students by:

• raising funds for various educational tools and experiences that make learning fun
• organizing a variety of events for students and families to enhance our sense of community
• being a resource for teachers, students and the school, connecting and communicating for the benefit of all

What we do: PTO enhances and hosts many activities for our students and families to enjoy, including:
- Scholastic Book Fair - Middle School Socials - Harvest Festival 
- 8th Grade Graduation - Golden Ticket Store - Teacher Appreciation Week 
- Jog-a-thon - Athletic Programs- Family Night Out - Restaurant fundraisers   - Yearbook - Much More!

How do we share info? Most regular information will be discussed at our monthly PTO meetings. Directly following each meeting, wrap up minutes will be posted on the school website as well as on the Nord Network Facebook page. Event and activity notices, volunteer requests along with important announcements will be most up to date on the Nord Network and through your child’s classroom communication portal.

How to join: Every parent with a student currently enrolled at NCS is already a member of the PTO! No fees or dues. Simply show up and join the fun. Be sure to join the Nord Network Facebook page as well!

There are plenty of chances to help even if only for one event! If you think any upcoming PTO event sounds like it’s right up your alley or you have fun ideas that may benefit the students, please fill out the volunteer form and jot down your ideas. We would love to hear your new ideas and any involvement is greatly appreciated.
