Sheila Koester, First Grade
I received my Bachelor's degree in liberal studies with a concentration in science. I have been extensively trained in Orton Gillingham Dyslexia and Phonemic Awareness Techniques. I am also a yearly presenter at the Summer Institute for the Northern Inland Science Project at CSU, Chico and the California Kindergarten Conference. I am married to my high school sweetheart and a mother of two beautiful children. I enjoy everything outdoors: camping, hiking, and outdoor sports. Every child that walks into my classroom is a part of my classroom family. They will forever have a person who believes, loves , and looks out for them. I seek to build strong relationships with my students and families. This foundation proves to be vital to each student’s development.
